Does the person tapping the tag need an app?
No. The emergency page opens in the phone's normal web browser.
What happens if my phone number changes?
Parents and pet owners can update their contact information in the dashboard. The NFC tag and QR code do not need to be replaced.
Does the tag track my child or pet?
No. Tap For Emergency is not a GPS tracking service.
Can I use the same emergency profile on multiple products?
Yes. Multiple tags can point to the same child or pet profile.
Can I use this for my pet?
Yes. A collar tag with your pet's profile can help a finder contact you quickly if your dog or cat wanders off.
What if a tag is lost?
Mark it as lost in your dashboard. The page stops working immediately, and we can replace the tag while keeping the same profile.
Can I see when a tag was used?
Yes. Your dashboard shows how many times each tag was opened. It never shows who opened it.
